This page is dedicated to poetry. What does poetry has to do with the paranormal you ask. Well, through poetry as well as stories people have been able to either explain their fears, record their experiences, and set into motion guides stating what should or should not be expected from spirits, in the shadows or dark. Many of us have listened to ghost stories some of which might have started as poems or lyrics. Many a scary story from the past were either written straight forward as a story or a poem. Some of our nursery rhymes started off with darker tones and were meant not to be cute but were meant to scare the listener, more often children, to avoid certain situations. So in honor of the memory of those poems I am having this page of poems related to the paranormal. Spiritwalker
Shadows Came
Authored by Mick G.
Seeking light and your energy too
Sneaking twisting like a rotten root
As black as an old gum boot
Anakie, troublesome, evil minds
Knives stuck in you from behind
Eyes that glow where light does fail
Of RIP signs and widows wail.
In Old Houses where doors do creek
And mailmen come but once a week
Shivers run up and down your spine
Sending horror stories to your mind
Something touches you in the dark
Could be a Monster, a Ghost, or a Tiger shark
You try to move but your legs wont work
And something is pulling on your shirt
Suddenly your blinded as lights go on
And you stand face to face with your mom,
Your shirt is caught on the kitchen draw
That you left open 5 minutes before
That’s the trouble with an over active mind
And pinching pizza that your brother left behind.
