As I said I would, on this page I will give some family background into the reasons for WWSPS's coming into being. I will give each member's background by listing their first name and position underlined and in italics.
When I was preschool age, I would climb in a tree behind our house and talk toward an upper limb. When my mom witness this, she just figured that I was talking to angels which was alright with the Southern Baptist beliefs. They as well as other beliefs accept that children through their innocence have their eyes opened to the spirit world. Whether I actually talked to angels or not, my memory of that time period is vague. I may have talked to them but I know I talked to others whom I befriended for they stayed with me through the years. They have assisted me during times they knew I needed them. A few of them are still with me today. One has been seen by others and has been described as my twin or mirror image. He has been the one I have come to know best. The others are no lesser or greater than my "twin" because they all have helped me and my family throughout the years just as my "twin" has. ( I will not give out their names and later you may see why. )
A gift has shown itself off and on throughout my life which to most it is called premonition or seeing into the future. To me they were dream visions that saw into the future on some occasions, viewed places as their are now though my last memory of these places were different and others I will discuss later. These dream visions not only happen when I sleep but when I am awake. The awaking dreams do not interfere with my day to day life because they show themselves as images you would envision just as one would a memory. The dream visions were usually better than 90% accurate. Now another part of the dream visions is the ability to see the past, recent or far past. This type of vision I cannot say how realize there will be records accurate they are because some of them would require some archeology to prove them and some of these would require me to find the location. Most of this type vision would cover what happened at a site I was at.
The visions of the past can and have on occasion told the story of an event that had happened there in an overall view. On a later page I will discuss cases including one where the dream vision helped bring forth knowledge of a past event. (In all cases I talk about I will not give names nor exact locations as to respect the privacy of the individuals involved. This how I will handle all cases on this site even if I have full permission from the individual(s). Those I have permission from know that records are kept to help consider experiences of cases and may help shed light on a new case, still I will only mention names and locations when working with other trusted people in the field.)
I am known in my family as an old spirit. To most circles this means I have the disposition of someone either older than my age, the knowledge beyond my years, or as some beliefs acknowledge it I am a reincarnation of who has lived before. I agree with all these as I have admitted to each in their own fashion. As for reincarnation, I lack full knowledge of my past lives but have glimpses of them throughout my present life. I am the first born son in my family and the first born grandson to my mother's parents (they treated me as their son at times since they helped raise me). This has played into why I have behaved older throughout my life. As for knowledge beyond my years, but not all. No one taught me how to waltz, but I was able to teach my mom. I also had/have an understanding of how many things worked without ever being around them before (this was before all these shows and cable/satellite channels that are teaching how things were/are made and worked). Now I am not saying I know everything because that would be foolish. Only Creator knows everything.
Most places my family has lived had a past to them whether the house was newer or not. (You can have a new house built but the land has history most of which isn't known.) As a child even after my ability to see spirits was dimmed, I would experience things that were hard to explain to others. I can now look back and realize that those were supernatural events whether I saw a vision, felt a cold draft in a warm house, or saw something happen that I or my brother were blamed for. After I started to realize that I was given gifts from Creator, I could after some work sense what was really happening. The problem with neglecting gifts is it can take a lot of work to get them fine tuned again unless you are exceptionally gifted.
Rev. Denise S. Murchison, D.Div. (co-founder): My lifemate/wife is the one who primarily convinced me to start my own group for studying all aspects of the paranormal and supernatural. She suggested that I start with helping those who are having problems with hauntings and what most people recognize as the paranormal. Her suggestion was good enough to get me to start thinking on it, but I am interested in all aspects of both.
Denise's family has history of ancestors who had the knowledge of healing on both sides of the big pond (Atlantic Ocean). These ancestors were also sensitive to the paranormal/supernatural meaning they could "see", "hear", "talk to", and so on. Now this sometimes in the past could get people in trouble as witches and warlocks especially when the "witch hunts" were on or someone wanted to own your property or someone just didn't like you because you were different from them. At least with the Native Americans being a healer or someone who was in contact with spirits/ancestors (understand that there was/is a difference between spirits and the ancestors) was respected by most everyone. On a rare occasion, there might be one member of the village or nation that might harbor jealousy toward a spirit talker.
She has the ability to see into the spirit realm just by looking (no trance or any mumbo-jumbo). and she can sometimes see a person's aura. When I call her a witch, she takes it as a compliment. This is true because she is a descendant of a line of healers with abilities to use their gifts to help other as well as manipulating objects as in causing them to move at will. Unfortunately one of her relatives decide to delve into the dark arts with an evil coven and started to drag Denise in. Luckily for me and our two yougest children she did a turn-a-bout and got away from that situation.
I will talk more about Denise and others who aide me later. Just remember that we are here to assist those in need, really in need.

Robert (Lead Investigator / co-Founder of WWSPS) : First off, my history is a bag of mixed reasons for and against being involved with anything paranormal/supernatural. I will also explain some of the gifts Creator has given me. Most of these gifts I am still training myself to use so they will become stronger to better help people.
I come from a Southern Baptist family and this is a big reason against involvement with the paranormal. (from here on in my history I will go back and forth between paranormal and supernatural. I will also explain why.) My maternal grandfather (whose lineage I get the majority of my Native American heritage from - a reason toward dealing with the supernatural) was a deacon and the training union director at our church. Another earlier ancestor was a preacher at another church and also was what we now call a wandering evangelists who did some time going from church to church preaching the "Good Word". These are but a couple of reasons I became a minister. As I grew up in this church, I was involved in many of the activities offered through our church. At Falls Creek Baptist Assembly youth camp during my teens I dedicated my life to the ministry. Throughout the years I was involved with the choir, being a Sunday school teacher, being an adult sponsor and cook for the youth during one summer at Falls Creek, I assisted within what was called "lock-ins" where the teens and some of the older children spent the night within the church, for some activities, I drove the church bus, helped with the haunted house fund raiser, and for a brief time I took over from my grandfather the position of training union director. This does seem like it has nothing to do with the formation of WWSPS, but since it helped develop the person I am, it does.
